Llechen Gymreig - Welsh Slate

Welsh roofing slates are given a new lease of life as sculptures, clocks, pendants and earrings. Cutting and shaping and polishing create tactile pieces as smooth as a sea-washed pebble, with a shimmering sheen of grey or purple. My workshop is in Llangeler near Newcastle Emlyn and you can see a selection of my work at : Moriath Glass near Newcastle Emlyn (open all year by appointment, see separate entry)
