Gary lives on the Mid West Wales coast in the village of BOW STREET, just north of Aberystwyth. His subject matter is drawn almost exclusively from the ever changing Welsh landscape, its towns and villages. As a Christian he sees the created world as a way of expressing his faith and of opening the eyes of others to things they have be unaware of. Throughout the Bible there are expressions of 'abundant joy', of 'valleys standing thick with corn ... singing their heads off'. Gary's styles are often changing but they always have a slightly quirky, mischievous, colourfully expressive nature together with a hint of playfulness. In Birmingham Gary was part of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists - RBSA. On moving to Drenewydd - Powys he was given many chances to show his work and was three time winner of the Theatre Hafren 'Open Art' competition. After moving  to coastal West Wales and living in Llanon and now in Bow Street he is became a member of the Ceredigion Art Trail.
