Rag Art Studios

Textile artist Sue Clow has been creating recycled textile art for the past 20 years in Ceredigion trading under the name Rag Art Studios. Sue makes hats, bags, wall-hangings and rag rugs from recycled materials as well as designing a range of creative textile kits and selling tools. She runs workshops at a variety of locations throughout the year and greatly enjoys spreading the joy of creative recycling. Rag Art Studios is open by appointment for small groups and individuals to book workshops and visits at home in Trefenter, Llanddewi Brefi. The workshop is situated on a wooded hillside up a footpath/bridlepath with beautiful views and room to run outdoor workshops too in good weather. The track up to the house is quite narrow and rough so it is best to walk up if possible. Sue can also be booked to visit groups and events to run creative textile workshops including many different techniques of rag rug making, weaving and sewing. She is currently working increasingly with recycling plastics and junk in collage work too.
